It’s National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), and I’m going to join the frenzy of other writers around the world collectively, yet individually working towards a goal of writing 50,000 words towards the completion of a novel during the 30 days of November. Sound crazy – yep!

Last year over 384,000 writers participated in this challenge. So I guess I may as well too! I’ve been on the verge of finishing a thorough edit of On the Line. (I’m almost ready for some beta readers!) All along, the plan was to begin writing the second book in the series, Crossing the Line (working title).

However, with a worldwide challenge afoot, I may as well dive in and start writing. Once I am in writing mode, I’m pretty focused and pretty prolific. So I think I can achieve the word count goal – but we’ll see.

So all that said, I’ll be pretty focused on writing for the coming month with limited blog posts other than to update you all on my word count progress. It should be fun or crazy-making; not sure which.
