NaNoWriMo – Success
My first NaNoWriMo gets a big checkmark in the success column! Yay! I got to 50,000 words last night. Interestingly enough, it was right at the point in my novel when my characters said the L-word to one another.
I think I only have about 1/6 to 1/4 of the book remaining give or take. So with any luck, I think I can still finish. The days ahead get real busy with the holiday and such, but I think if I scrape together all my spare time, I’ll finish the first draft.
Can’t wait to share more about this book, but for now, I’d better quit blogging and get to writing.

NaNoWriMo update
Good news, I’ve been writing away like crazy. I’ve written 16,500 words in 7 days!! Only 33,500 to go. If I don’t stumble into a major writing block, I think I’ll get there.
