NaNoWriMo Wrap-up

It’s over! I’ve done it. With the exception of Thanksgiving, I’ve written every day in November. I reached 50,000 words about 10 days ago. My goal was to take it a step further and finish the first draft, which I found a bit more challenging…. but I did it.

Weighing in at 70,628 words, the first ROUGH draft of Crossing the Line is complete!

Crossing the Line is the second story in my series, following four college friends as they find love and companionship. This story explores Felicity’s fall for an unlikely man. Felicity is an uninhibited, free spirit who is drawn to a rather traditional, manly-man. A man who, incidentally doesn’t seem all that interested in Felicity.

Felicity knows better than anyone, though – the heart wants what the heart wants.

I will return to editing On the Line (the first novel in the 3-part series) after I take a very short rejuvenating break. Be on the lookout for the chapter sample to be posted soon and a request for beta readers for On the Line.

My NaNoWriMo story is going to need a bit of heavy editing before I can share more, however, stay tuned.

Thanks for all your support and encouragement for me on this journey.
